Field Notes
We went to evergreen cemetery pond for are field trip.On the day we went to the pond it was sunny about 60 degrees and windy.We used nets,strainers,buckets, and plastic containers.we went on the field trip to collect animals so we could research them in the class by looking at them in their tank.we captured frog newts tadpoles water scorpions and a lot of snails.

The water scorpion is 2 inches long. It is brown with a green tinge. It has an air tube on its back it's used to suck air in so they can breathe.

The water scorpion has 3 sets of legs. Two of which are on its side and one is on its front.the set of legs on its front is used to grab its prey.
