Feild Notes
We are trying to find purple loosestrife, because last year Mr. Parents classes found a plant that was purple loosestrife. So we are looking for purple loosestrife, to see if the plant spreads, or the plant does not spread.
Our mission is to find more purple loosestrife around the pond. We will try prove that there is or is not more than 1 purple loosestrife plant.
The windspeed was 0. The temperture was 30.5. The humidity was 45% and the dew point is 11.3. The weather was very hot.
We didn’t find any purple loosestrife plants. But we did find a plant that was very similar. It had very similar leaves that purple loosestrife has. But it had a different stem, the stem was different because it was circular not square. The leaves on the plant we found, was a light green color, and it had a very few brown dots. It also had a line down the middle of the plant.
Supporting Evidence
I did not find the purple loosestrife, I know this because purple loosestrife has more leaves then the plant we found.
I did not find purple loosestrife, and I know this because the purple loosestrife plant's stem is a square stem, and the plant we found, does not have a square stem.
